A contract is formed once we have received a completed booking form and payment has cleared. Such contract is, of course, subject to the information provided in the booking form, being correct.
Internet bookings with Bank Transfer or Wires are only accepted if there is a verbal agreement to the Terms and Conditions as seen on the website and that the person making the booking has read and agreed the Terms and Conditions and will take full responsibility for the other guests.
Where due to unforeseen circumstances (in case of ‘Frustration’ under English Law) the property becomes unavailable, the owners reserve the right to cancel and refund the money paid. We reserve the right to increase or decrease the prices shown at any time. However, the price on the booking confirmation form will not be increased unless the booking is amended.
In the event of late payments, we reserve the right to cancel the booking. Late cancellations must be paid for in full. We recommend that you take out the necessary holiday insurance to cover any losses. If we are able to re-let the cottage you will receive a refund on your booking.
We reserve the right to enter the cottage at any time to inspect and/or carry out repairs or maintenance.
We have the necessary Legal Insurance to run the cottage as a holiday let, therefore all names on the booking confirmation must be correct. Any changes in the guests who will be staying at South View Cottage must be reported to the owners before the start of the rental.
We do not accept third party liability in respect of negligence, breech of contract or otherwise. We cannot under any circumstances accept responsibility for the loss of life, personal injury damage or accident. Vehicles are left entirely at the vehicle owner’s risk.
